On-line Deposit Policy

Booking online your required to pay a 50% deposit for your services. This deposit will be used as part payment towards your service and is fully refundable should you cancel more than 48 hours before your appointment. You may reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours before, and your deposit will be carried across to your new appointment. If you fail to show up for your appointment you will lose your deposit and will be charged in accordance with our 48 hour cancellation / no-show policy.

48 Hour Cancellation / No-Show Policy

No-shows has cost the salon thousands of pounds a year, which is why we had to introduce a Cancellation / No-Show Policy. Our appointment software will automatically send an email reminder 3 days before your appointment, (if you have supplied one) and a SMS text message 2 days before your appointment, again if you’ve supplied one. So please make sure your contact information we hold is always up to date.

Our cancellation policy is strictly 48 hours for all clients. If we don’t receive 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment, a charged of 50% of the service booked for the first no-shows, late cancellation or reschedule, then 100% on future no-shows, late cancellation or reschedule will be added to your account.
If you have booked online your debit/credit card will automatically be charged 50% of the service booked for the first no-show, late cancellation or reschedule, then 100% on future no-shows, late cancellation or reschedule

If you consistently have no-shows, late cancellations or reschedules, the salon will require 100% deposit of the service you wish to book, that is non-refundable on no-show, late cancellation or reschedule.

Skin / Patch Testing Policy

Campbell & Glasby have a duty of care to make sure that you are protected from the services you undertake in the salon. The only way of ensuring that you are allergy free, is to come into our salon 48 hours before your service to have a skin/patch test. This test is done with the hair colour range that we use in our salon. This is the only way of detecting any allergies that may cause damage to your skin.

Not all hair colour/dye is the same, you may of had your hair coloured for years at one salon, this dose not mean your not allergy free. All new guests to the salon must have a skin/patch test. Failure to do so will result in your appointment being cancelled.

If at any time you have even a slight reaction to hair colour/dye (itchiness, burning, discomfort, irritation or inflammation) please inform the stylist on your visit. You can become allergic at any time, even after years of hair colouring.

Under 16 Colour Policy

Campbell & Glasby will not colour/tint children under 16.
Whilst it is not against the law to do so, since 2012 the EC insists that all hair colour manufacturers state on their products that they are not intended for use for anyone under the age of 16. And the Hairdressing Federation instructs us “that hair colour products should never be applied to anyone under the age of 16”.
Also we are not covered under our insurance policy to do so.
