We can’t tell you how excited we are to be inviting you back to Campbell & Glasby, it’s been a very long time for us all and hopefully with a great new haircut or colour we can feel a little bit more like our usual selves again.
As you can imagine your appointment is going to look a little different for the time being, but don’t worry, we’ll still have the same friendly atmosphere, the same amazing stylist, the same laughs and giggles and most importantly the same great quality, creative hair work.
So here’s what you need to know:
When arriving to your appointment please do not come to early (we are restricted on space due to social distancing) and equally please don’t be late. We may have to reschedule your appointment if you are late because it has a knock-on effect for the rest of the day.
You must attend your appointment alone (again this is due to space and social distancing). Although if your anything like us this is the perfect excuse to escape the rest of the household for a while after being locked up with them for 3 months.
We will ask you to sanitise your hands as soon as you enter the building.
We will take your temperature with a contactless infrared thermometer (Staff will be having theirs checked several times a day).
You will then be given a mask if you have not brought your own and then showed to your seat.
With nail appointments, you will be ask to wash your hands and use a nail brush (a sanitised brush one for each client will be provided)
If you are wearing a jacket/coat please bring with you a plastic bag to keep it in, as all your belongs are to be kept with you at all times.
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to supply magazines, so if you want to bring your own or a book to keep you entertained, we welcome that.
Remember that we provide free WiFi so if you prefer to use your tablet or phone please ask us for the code.
Due to the fact we are all wearing masks we are not offering drinks at the moment to haircut or nail clients. However, if you are having a colour, during the processing time you’re welcome to take your mask off (when your stylist is 2 meters away from you) and enjoy a drink in our new compostable paper cups.
Your shampoo experience will be briefer than you are used to, this is because we are advised to limit the time exposed to people during their visit. We know the shampoo is often the best bit about having your hair done (it’s our favourite bit too), so we will endeavour to go back to your normal luxurious experience as soon as we can.
Unfortunately, due to all the current guidelines we are unable to offer haircuts to young children. We are hoping to change this guideline in the not too distant future.
This one is an obvious one. If you or anyone in your household have been showing any symptoms of COVID-19, please call us to rearrange your appointment. We are still suspending our 24-hour cancellation fee for this reason. Equally if you discover you have the virus within 2 weeks of being at the salon please call us to let us know.
